Botox is scary, plain and simple. Wrinkles and laugh lines are the road maps of our life and tell our history; where we’ve been and where we’re going. I don’t think I can fully trust someone who doesn’t have a few wrinkles!

A very thoughtful post, Julie. I’m of the “you’ve earned those wrinkles” school of thought, although I don’t try to overly encourage them. But if the wrinkles come from smiling or showing sympathy, I’m happy to have them. This confirms that. Well done!

Horray for this perspective. The deep lines on my face tell me I totally need botox. I saw a friend in NYC over the weekend and her face was as smooth and line free as it was 20 years ago. I didn’t ask, but knew she must have had botox. Somehow it just doesn’t feel right to me. That and the fact that it involves needles! Thanks for helping me embrace my wrinkles!!!!
